The simplest techniques are often the best.
It is true we need to take time to get the lighting right. Equally true, we need to think about the simple way to do it. Too often photographers want to set up complex lighting. Actually with some very simple techniques we can make the light as simple and full as the light of day. If it looks natural nearly anything will benefit from simple lighting.

If you are working with a home set-up, or you have a sophisticated studio, this technique is equally as useful. It simply uses a very large reflector – a white wall. That’s something nearly everyone has access to somewhere nearby.
